The team behind York Fashion Week.
MD of NIMA, a marketing agency working with luxury and retail brands, and now head of marketing for York Fashion Week. After moving to York to work for Bettys Café Tearooms, Nicky then established NIMA in 2015.
Her role within NIMA sees her developing the customer journey and enhancing brand image, and she’s loved bringing these elements to York Fashion Week. As well as being a founder of York Fashion Week, Nicky worked on the brand development, social strategy and event curation for York Fashion Week 2019.
Associate Director at Browns Department Store in York specifically delivering Sales and Customer Service training and working on enhancing the customer experience in the stores. The store was founded by Angela’s Great, Great Grandfather Henry Rhodes Brown in 1896. Angela began her career at Browns in 1994 as Personnel Manager and later as Personnel Director for Browns’ four stores.
In the build up to York Fashion Week, Angela built relationships with local retailers, designers, photographers and business owners, and was key in creating a really diverse calendar.
As Creative Director of NIMA, Mark understands luxury brands and how to create the perfect, stylish showcase.
Mark joined York Fashion Week to develop the brand, and now manages all aspects of YFW’s branding including the website, events programme, and all literature.
Olivia is an experienced branding and commercial photographer based in central York. She is renowned for her documentary style of photography which results in very authentic and natural images. Her client list includes a range of Yorkshire and national brands.
As well as model images, her fashion photography often goes behind the scenes to designer’s studios, where she tells the story of the creativity and expertise that goes into a brand.
