Firstly, York Fashion Week has no official uniform, it is more of an opportunity to express your own personal style. The main thing to concentrate on when pulling an outfit together is to feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing. York Fashion Week is a great opportunity to try something new and style up your outfits in an environment that is all about fashion. We thought we would give you some insider advice on how we restyle your wardrobe and get inspiration for the new season’s looks.

So here we go six looks to rock for York Fashion Week 2020.
A denim Whistles dress, it has a 70’s feel which welcomes the current denim revival trend, it’s bell sleeves, short length and grandad collar along with its loose flow makes it an easy wear that is flattering on everyone. Natalie paired it with some statement Mint Velvet white heeled boots and a white Ted Baker clutch. Little things like ensuring your bag and shoes are the same colour really bring an outfit together and instantly make it more stylish and chic.
Biker street style
This is a layered outfit which starts with an amazing long All Saints silk evolution print dress that has a flattering cinched waist, Natalie added to the look with a John Lewis and Partners black studded belt and a classic All Saints Dalby biker jacket. She also added a pair of buckled black Carvela biker boots and a circular cross body Ted Baker bag. This outfit is edgy due to the dark elements such as the belt, jacket and boots however it is all balanced out by the stunning white dress.
Bell bottom baby
Let’s bring back those bell bottom jeans! This look is chic, colourful and 70’s inspired. The jeans are Oasis and are a low rise fit in a dark denim. The blouse spices up the outfit with the colourful floral paisley print with exaggerated sleeves and an optional low-cut collar. The whole outfit was topped off with a vibrant yellow pair of mules which again added to the 70’s vibe of the outfit. The bag paired with this outfit is a Dune basket weave bag which is perfect for spring and summer.
This is a one stop shop outfit, a denim boiler suit by Mint Velvet paired with the super chic white boots or alternatively some stand out colourful shoes, such as yellow mules. This denim all in one is a nod to the utility trend which has returned this season however the trend has developed with a much softer feel incorporating patchwork pockets. The all in one looks amazing with the matching belt, however by swapping up the belt to a vibrant leopard print it brings a new feel to the outfit. Little details such as cuffing the sleeves and hem make the look more balanced and proportioned.
Something a little girly
A cute Oasis dress that is floral in print and features some flattering floaty tiers. This dress is perfect for the current time of year as it’s sticking with a darker colour palette, yet still has a girly edge with the pastel pink and blue pattern. Paired with a pretty pink clutch and the Dune barely there heels in a perfect nude colour.
This look features the infamous 501 crop Levis jeans in a light blue which are incredibly diverse and can act as a starting point for an endless variety of looks. However, for this look, Natalie matched the jeans with an amazing contrasting leopard print All Saints bodysuit. This pairing is daring with the casual jeans and intense print yet totally worth a try. The jeans together with the white Mint Velvet boots also gives the look a cowboy feel. Rock this look with a pulled back hairstyle for a relaxed chic street style look perfect for any runway show you attend.
